Duties of the Quality and Accreditation Commission
- The commission is formed by the dean and begins its work with the approval of the board of directors.
- Prepares the faculty's self-evaluation and, when necessary, interim reports; coordinates internal evaluation processes.
- Conducts the necessary recording, correspondence, documentation, revision and archiving operations within the scope of the Quality Management System.
- Plans training meetings and information events regarding quality management and announces them to the relevant parties.
- Ensures that the documents and statistical forms received by the faculty are distributed to the relevant units, recorded and filed.
- Reports problems related to the quality unit to senior management; monitors and improves the processes regarding the operation of the system.
- Plans, executes and evaluates the accreditation process; directs sub-commissions within this scope and periodically follows up on reports.
- Ensures timely preparation of information, documents and materials required for accreditation studies.
- It carries out the faculty's national and international accreditation applications and develops quality-oriented strategies in this process.
- Coordinates activities to increase the quality of academic and administrative services in line with the university's strategic plan; monitors performance indicators, updates action plans and presents recommendations to faculty management.
- The Commission also carries out other work that falls outside its job description but is needed regarding quality and accreditation processes.
- The Commission meets at least twice a year; additional meetings may be held upon the call of the President or upon the written request of a simple majority of the members.
- Decisions taken at the meetings are recorded in minutes and summary information is published on the faculty website.
- Commission members continue their duties until a new appointment is made; new members are appointed by the dean's office to replace the members who left.
- Members are required to attend meetings, and those who do not attend without a valid excuse will be subject to evaluation.
