Duties of the Foreign Affairs Commission
- The commission is formed by the dean and begins its activities with the approval of the board of directors.
- To direct and evaluate relevant commissions to establish bilateral and multilateral cooperation for student and staff exchange with domestic and foreign universities, taking into account the needs and capacity of the university and faculty.
- To organize joint training programs with domestic and foreign universities, research centers and their affiliated units and to follow up on existing collaborations,
- To prepare, implement and evaluate the faculty's internationalization strategy in coordination with the faculty management,
- To contribute to the recognition of the Faculty, University, city and country by organizing various meetings such as joint projects, seminars, summer schools and workshops with universities in Turkey and abroad,
- To ensure that agreements made between universities or educational units are announced within the faculty and on the faculty's online platforms,
- Evaluation of requests from our faculty members and academic staff.
- Carrying out other studies related to internationalization deemed necessary by the Dean's Office.
- The Commission meets at least twice a year; meeting decisions are recorded in minutes and summary information is shared with the public for transparency purposes.
- Members continue their duties until a new appointment is made; a new member is appointed by the dean's office to replace those who resign.
- Members are required to attend meetings, and those who do not attend without a valid excuse will be subject to evaluation.
