Duties of the Scholarship Commission

• The Commission is determined by the Dean and begins its activities with the approval of the Faculty Board of Directors. The Dean chairs the Commission when necessary.
• It helps identify students who are eligible for university-provided nutrition assistance, scholarships, and similar support.
• It decides which students will be allocated undergraduate and graduate scholarships provided by public institutions, the private sector or non-governmental organizations.
• It publishes the lists of students who receive scholarships and announcements regarding scholarships on the faculty's website; it provides the necessary information and coordination.
• The Commission meets at least twice a year; meeting decisions are recorded in minutes and summary information is shared with the public for transparency purposes.
• Members continue their duties until a new appointment is made; a new member is appointed by the dean's office to replace those who resign.
• Members are required to attend meetings, and those who do not attend without a valid excuse will be subject to evaluation.
