Duties of the In-Service Training and Orientation Commission
- The commission is determined by the dean and begins its duties with the approval of the board of directors. The Dean chairs the Commission when necessary.
- Organizes training activities such as courses, seminars and workshops to support the professional development of academic and administrative staff.
- It creates mentoring programs for young academics and plans training on pedagogical formation, measurement-evaluation and e-learning.
- Prepares orientation programs to facilitate students' adaptation to the university and the profession; carries out promotional activities about the faculty, university and relevant units.
- Provides information to students about biosecurity, library use and regulations.
- It carries out the necessary work to increase the online accessibility of training materials (video, pdf, recording, etc.).
- Benefits from the opinions and contributions of external stakeholders in training and orientation processes and shares the results with relevant parties.
- The commission meets at least twice a year; the decisions taken at the meetings are recorded in minutes and summary information is published on the faculty website.
- Commission members continue their duties until a new appointment is made. A new appointment is made by the Dean's Office in place of a member who leaves for any reason.
- Members are required to attend meetings, and those who do not attend without a valid excuse will be subject to evaluation.
