Duties of the Education - Training and Planning Commission

• The commission is formed by the dean and begins its activities with the approval of the board of directors.
• Coordinates the work and operations related to the faculty's education and training processes; makes arrangements on academic issues related to students.
• It identifies repetitions and deficiencies in the curriculum by reviewing course contents; and offers suggestions to improve the quality of education.
• Carries out the ECTS coordinatorship of the departments; contributes to the updating and accreditation of the programs.
• Evaluates the situation of the students who apply for make-up exams and submits a report to the dean's office.
• Conducts the course selection and approval processes for students who will attend summer school or take courses from summer school.
• The Commission meets at least twice a year; meeting decisions are recorded in minutes and summary information is shared with the public for transparency purposes.
• Members continue their duties until a new appointment is made; a new member is appointed by the dean's office to replace those who resign.
• Members are required to attend meetings, and those who do not attend without a valid excuse will be subject to evaluation.
