Duties of the Measurement and Evaluation Commission
- The Measurement and Evaluation Commission and its members are formed by the Dean and carry out their activities after the approval of the Board of Directors. The Dean chairs the Commission when necessary.
- To develop and implement examination, survey and similar methods within the scope of measurement, evaluation and self-evaluation regarding the education-training activities of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, to examine the relevant issues on the agenda of the Faculty Academic Board in terms of compliance with measurement and evaluation techniques and to express opinions,
- The Commission conducts survey studies such as student satisfaction survey, student course evaluation survey, graduate student survey, academic staff satisfaction survey, administrative staff satisfaction survey, internal and external stakeholder survey, etc.
- During the survey preparation process, he/she carries out the necessary work (preparing the survey, filling out the survey), evaluates it and presents the results in a report to the Dean's Office.
- It determines when the surveys will be conducted and how they will be evaluated.
- It makes suggestions for improvement regarding the areas in need of improvement that are revealed in the internal and external evaluation reports regarding the surveys.
- Responsible for determining and implementing the methods of implementing surveys.
- To review and evaluate the Course Notes File and Student Work files,
- To determine and implement the methods required to measure and evaluate the educational outcomes of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine,
- Evaluating the measurement results and submitting them to the Faculty Quality and Accreditation Commission,
- To be in communication with the Faculty Quality and Accreditation Commission at every stage of the studies,
- To conduct SWOT analysis (teaching staff, experts, technicians, civil servants, employees and students)
- Evaluating SWOT survey forms and preparing a report.
- The commission meets at least twice a year; the decisions taken at the meetings are recorded in minutes and summary information is published on the faculty website.
- Commission members continue their duties until a new appointment is made. A new appointment is made by the Dean's Office in place of a member who leaves for any reason.
- Members are required to attend meetings, and those who do not attend without a valid excuse will be subject to evaluation.
