IVSA Elazığ, one of our faculty's student clubs, has been awarded funding in the 5th term of the University Student Clubs Cooperation and Support Program (ÜNİDES) of the General Directorate of Youth Services.
Within the scope of the project titled "Field Experience in Veterinary Medicine, Technical Perspective on the Profession," the aim is for the active members of the IVSA-Elazığ Student Community of Fırat University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine to become familiar with veterinary medicine practices in Samsun province, to increase their knowledge and experience in animal care and management through technical visits to stray animal shelters and cattle farms, and to strengthen their professional relationships. Furthermore, the project aims to jointly conduct the process with the IVSA Samsun Student Community of Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, to share Samsun's cultural and artistic activities with the IVSA-Elazığ student community members, thus fostering the joint development of the professional, communicative, and cultural infrastructures of both university communities and laying the groundwork for future planned national and international projects.
In this regard, our faculty alumnus, Mr. Mehmet Yıldız, Head of Rural Services Department of Samsun Metropolitan Municipality, the Samsun-Sinop Veterinary Chamber, and the Dean of Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Prof. Dr. [Name], participated in the project. Mehmet Tütüncü, faculty members from the Veterinary Faculty, IVSA Elazığ advisor Prof. Dr. Pınar TATLI SEVEN, and members of the IVSA Samsun and IVSA Elazığ Student Societies participated in the program.
