As part of the full accreditation visit to be conducted by the European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education (EAEVE), our faculty will undergo a significant evaluation process between May 10-14, 2025. During this process, EAEVE experts will conduct a detailed assessment of our faculty’s competencies in education, research, clinical services, and quality assurance. The evaluation team will analyze our faculty’s compliance with European standards, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to our international accreditation process.

The evaluation team for our Faculty consists of the following experts:

• Dr. Agnes KERTI (Veterinary Public Health and Food Safety & Quality), Former state veterinarian, private practitioner, external veterinary auditor in Food and Veterinary Office of the EU, Budapest, Hungary
• Prof. Alun WILLIAMS (Quality Assurance), VEE of the University of Cambridge (Cambridge), United Kingdom
• Mr. David João CORDEIRO FERNANDES (Student Member), VEE of the University of Murcia (Murcia), Spain

This evaluation is a crucial step towards further enhancing the quality of education at our faculty and strengthening our international recognition. As Fırat University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, we are fully committed to preparing for this process in the best possible way and elevating our quality standards to the highest level.
