Our faculty is being evaluated as part of the visit conducted by the European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education (EAEVE). The visit, which started on March 10, 2025, will continue until March 14, 2025. The EAEVE evaluation team is assessing the compliance of our faculty with international standards in various areas, including the education curriculum, research activities, infrastructure, and societal contributions.
This evaluation process is of great importance for enhancing the quality of education, ensuring compliance with international accreditation standards, and providing students with a more well-equipped learning environment. As part of the EAEVE visit, detailed discussions are being held with academic and administrative units, and classrooms, laboratories, clinics, and research centers are being inspected on-site. The EAEVE evaluation team consists of Prof. Frank Gasthuys (Ghent University, Belgium – Chairperson and Clinical Sciences Expert), Prof. Brunella Restucci (University of Naples Federico II, Italy – Basic Sciences Expert), Prof. Renaud Maillard (National Veterinary School of Toulouse, France – Clinical Sciences Expert), Dr. Agnes Kerti (Hungary – Veterinary Public Health and Food Safety Expert), Dr. Sean O’ Laoide (Veterinary Council of Ireland – Practitioner), Prof. Alun Williams (University of Cambridge, United Kingdom – Quality Assurance Expert), Mr. David João Cordeiro Fernandes (University of Murcia, Spain – Student Representative), and Prof. Yngvild Wasteson (Norwegian University of Life Sciences, Norway – ESEVT Coordinator).
