The "One Health: Holistic and Sustainable Solutions" workshop, organized jointly by TÜBA and Atatürk University, featured over 30 scientists who effectively addressed current issues across 24 topics, spanning seven sessions ranging from "Food Systems, Sustainability, and Climate Crisis" to "Climate Change, Pollution, and Public Health."
In his presentation, TÜBA Principal Member and Director of the TÜBA-Food and Nutrition Working Group, Prof. Dr. Kazım Şahin emphasized that biological control is not merely an agricultural method but "a strategic tool that will shape our future." Şahin emphasized that human, animal, plant, and ecosystem health are inseparable, and that challenges such as climate change, biodiversity loss, environmental pollution, and dependence on chemicals require an interdisciplinary approach.
